Biography

I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist Associate (supervised by Brian Tingley MS LMFT). I graduated from the University of Massachusetts Global with a Bachelor of Arts in Social Work and from Pacific Lutheran University with a Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy.
Before joining Family Foundations Counseling, I worked in the Child and Family Department at Greater Lakes Mental Health, providing individual, group, and family therapy that included case management and consultation between other therapists, psychiatrists, schools, and the legal system.

Therapeutic Style

I believe in developing a safe environment to foster exploration, learning, and discovery. We will work together to identify and work toward your goals. The theoretical orientations that guide me include Family Systems, Cognitive Behavioral, Narrative Therapy, Emotional Focused Therapy, and Strength-Based, among others.
