I was raised in the Pacific Northwest. As a child, I developed an interest in horses that eventually led to me working as a wrangler at a youth camp. For several years, I mentored children and teenagers while teaching them all aspects of horsemanship. It was while I was working with young people that the idea of becoming a professional counselor emerged and I began my academic training. I earned a Bachelor’s degree in Developmental Psychology and a Master of Arts in Professional Counseling from Liberty University. Positions I've held include working for a non-profit community services agency as a Behavioral Support Specialist, as a Crisis Clinician, and I served as the Executive Director of a teen outreach center for at-risk youth. I enjoy helping people overcome challenges and achieve their goals.
My therapeutic approach involves identifying your goals and strengths and then using those strengths to achieve your goals. My goal is to provide you with a safe space for you and walk along side you as you gain insight on yourself and experience personal growth.
